One of the bird-hipped dinosaurs
Ate plants
One specimen of this species represents Australia's most complete dinosaur skeleton
The armoured ankylosaur, Kunbarrasaurus, takes up a defensive pose against an oncoming threat. Having evolved scale-covered body-armour with neck and tail spikes, this small plant-eating dinosaur was the most heavily protected dinosaur of Queensland’s Cretaceous coastline.
